Visually Impaired Cricket in Hampshire is run in conjunction with the Hampshire VI Cricket Club. Established in September 2008, the club has junior and senior sections providing opportunities for partially sighted and totally blind players living in Hampshire and the surrounding counties.
HVICC entered the BCEW National Blind Cricket League and BBS Cup for the first time in 2009 and play a full fixture list of friendly and competitive matches. ECB Club Coach Chris Wheeler heads up the club’s coaching team which delivers regular training sessions throughout the year.
HCB and HVICC have also been working in conjunction with the Hampshire VI MultiSports Club based at Toynbee School where coaching sessions are delivered throughout the summer term.
