Course Programme 2009/10

The Coach Education programme for 2009/2010 has now concluded, with numerous clubs within the county benefitting from a new wave of UKCC1 and 2 coaches. The programme also provided coaches with the opportunity to attend the ECB’s Coach Development Workshops, from which coaches were selected to complete the Club Coach assessment in April (results yet to be released by ECB).  All in all the entire programme has provided formal education opportunities for approximately 200 candidates, which is a great achievement.

Outside of the formal coach education structure The Hampshire Cricket Board Coaches Association has delivered five independent workshops across the county, providing coaches with additional training opportunities.  The Coaches Association is into its second year and continues to gather momentum in both its membership and reputation.  The committee are currently planning workshops to complement next years programme and will be advertised via their website www.hcbca.co.uk.

HCB are in the process of reviewing the 2009/2010 programme, including consultation with district representatives, which will help formulate next years programme.  Once the 2010/2011 programme is finalised, full details will be put on the website and sent directly to clubs.  In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact John Cook.
