Club Welfare Officers

All clubs with a Junior Section must appoint a Club Welfare Officer. In clubs without Junior sections, who nevertheless may have Under 18s playing for them or against them, if there is no Club Welfare Officer appointed then the Club Chairman has responsibilty for Child Protection.

All Club Welfare Officers must have a current CRB clearance through ECB, and attend  "Time to Listen" (TTL) and "Safeguarding & Protecting Children" (SPC) courses every three years.  A Notification Form should be completed and returned to the Development Office following a change of Club Welfare Officer.
