HCB VISION
 
"To be an innovative organisation providing everyone involved in recreational cricket with the support to maintain and increase participation in a safe environment and the opportunity to develop their skills to the highest level their ability allows."

 

HCB MISSION


“To provide a cricketing future for all”.

 

To this end the stated objectives are:

  • To nurture the game of cricket at the recreational level
  • To increase the levels of participation in cricket be they playing, umpiring, scoring, groundsmanship, administration or supporting
  • To identify talent
  • To provide the opportunities for all players to play at the highest level that their ambition and talent allows
  • To liaise with Hampshire Cricket in the development of future county players

STRUCTURE

There are a number of sub committees, set up specifically to ensure adequate input to the Board Executive. They are the Senior Cricket Committee, Finance Committee, Facilities Committee and Officiating (Umpires and Scorers) Committee.

The Board Executive is currently:

Chairman: Jeff Levick

Cricket Development Manager: Ben Thompson

Director of Cricket: Tim Tremlett

Chairman of the Finance Committee: Mark Readman

Chairman of the Senior Cricket Committee: Alan Bundy

Board Administrator: Colin Savage

Treasurer: Mike Rose.

The primary functions of the Executive are to produce the annual development plan, monitor the actions taken and advise where necessary
