Over the past 18 months the Hampshire Cricket Board has gone through a period of significant change. The Cricket Development Team has doubled through the introduction of 4 Community Cricket Coaches and an additional Cricket Development Officer.

Most significantly the funding previously received from the Cricket Foundation now comes to us through the newly formed ECB Trust. Funding comes to us in two payments, a Fixed Fee Payment (FFP) and a Performance Related Payment  (PRP). As a result, the HCB has been asked by ECB to undergo an Improvement Planning Process (IPP) which is a self assesment of where we are in key areas of work against a set of qualititive and quantitive figures. Against this process we will receive a FFP and PRP set against an Action Plan agreed with ECB.

This has lead us to re-evaluate our Development Plan and decide that a new 4 Year Strategy was needed in light of all these changes. Key partners have been involved in the writing of the plan and they have also been given the opportunity to feedback on content.
